Chocolate Hazelnut Tart

Crust Ingredients
  1. 3/4 cup Almonds
  2. 2 Tbsp dried Coconut
  3. 1 tsp Himalayan salt
  4. 4 large Dates
  5. 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract (alcohol free)
Filling Ingredients
  1. 3 cups Hazelnut Milk
  2. 6 Tbsp Agave Nectar
  3. 4 large Dates
  4. Pinch of Himalayan Salt
  5. 1/2 cup raw Cacao Powder
  6. 1/4 cup Irish Moss (soaked)
  7. 1/2 cup Spring Water
  8. 1/2 Coconut Oil
  9. 6 Tbsp Lecithin
  1. Crust: Mix the first three ingredients in a food processor until finely chopped, then add in the dates and vanilla and process. Then set aside.
  2. Filling: In a separate container add irish moss and water. Let it rest. Blend the hazelnut milk, Agave Nectar, dates, salt and Raw Cacao Powder. Blend together set aside and chill. Combine the two mixtures in your blender and remaining ingredients. Blend well; spread over crust and place in refrigerator to cool. Try adding grated orange peel to this recipe for flavour!
